Making Hot Buttered Rum is a whole lot easier when the butter includes most of the ingredients. This festive fall drink will warm you right up.
2 cups water or apple cider
½ cup Epicurean Butter Cinnamon & Brown Sugar Flavored Butter, softened
1 cup rum
Optional: cinnamon sticks and ground nutmeg, for garnish
In a medium saucepan, heat water or apple cider. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
Place 2 tablespoons of Cinnamon & Brown Sugar Flavored Butter into each mug. Add ¼ cup rum, then top with ½ cup hot water or apple cider.
Stir before serving.
Optional: garnish with a cinnamon stick and ground nutmeg.
